Spitfire! These may not be the most artistic photographs but sometimes life experiences are just more important! A few weeks ago, a friend asked what was left on my Bucket List for my last few months remaining. I replied that I had done so much since I was diagnosed, I'm feeling pretty complete - except for the impossible dreams of climbing Mount Vinson in Antarctica and flying a Spitfire! Well, with thanks to some amazing friends, they somehow pulled off the latter and here I am. Flying in and actually piloting an original WWII Spitfire. MJ-627 really did see action and shot down an ME-109 over Holland. It also still has the original airframe and fuselage. Experiences like this don't come around often. But I think you can tell from my grin in the video, I was pretty happy with it! With huge thanks to Roy Cope https://www.behance.net/Pigdowndog for all the air-to-air shots from our chaser plane.
